Ron Ray

Aniruddha Ron Ray has worked in the financial services industry since 1997 as a Financial Advisor/Money Manager. Ron graduated from Purdue University in Indiana, and joined Wal-Mart Management. This was a great experience, and prepared him for future success. Because of his success at Wal-Mart, he was offered an opportunity with Bank One, Chicago where he served as an Analyst. His outstanding performance at Bank One was recognized, and he began to rise through the ranks of management.

Ron has had a passion for finances and the stock markets since he was very young, and in early 1997 he was able to begin a career in the financial services industry when he joined PaineWebber/UBS. His hard work and determination to succeed helped him become one of the top financial advisors in the Las Vegas branch. Through his success he was able to build his own team, where he supervised four brokers at UBS.

In December 2002, Ron left UBS and joined LPL Financial. This move allowed him to start his own independent Financial Services company, Ray Financial Services, Inc. Becoming independent allowed Ron to focus on his clients’ needs, and build a business culture that offers every client the support they need to help them succeed. His focus is on educating clients on their investment options, taking the time to understand their financial situations, and providing them with the highest quality information, services, and products.

After 13 years with LPL Financial, Ron joined MDX Wealth Management, a Registered Investment Advisor firm that shares his belief in always placing the client’s needs first. Under this arrangement, Ron still operates at Ray Financial Services, and maintains his independence and control of all of his clients. He has access to TD Ameritrade Institutional and Interactive Brokers. Through these additional resources, Ron feels that he can provide the best in investment products and services to meet his clients’ needs. This relationship with MDX Wealth combines the strength and resources of a large Investment Advisory firm with the small-company feel of an independent, privately held firm. Ron is excited about the relationship, and believes that this combination serves his clients well.

Since 1997, Ron has worked with wealthy private clients, professional athletes, Hollywood personalities, pension plans, physicians, architects, lawyers and business owners as a valued partner to determine an investment strategy that supports their financial goals, lifestyle and risk profile. As an independent, fee-only registered investment advisor who takes time to get to know each client, he does not sell generic cookie-cutter asset allocation models. Instead, he personally manages his clients’ assets using creative strategies like the utilization of options contracts to hedge against declining markets and minimize losses during bear market periods.

Ron prides himself in always acting with integrity, honesty, and objectivity.  He has extensive knowledge about ERISA plans and manages several profit sharing plans, Defined Benefit plans and 401(k)s. As a part of the investment management process, Ron may provide financial planning, retirement planning, college planning, insurance analysis, and legacy planning, all included in the management fees charged to his clients.

As an independent advisor, Ron is able to pick and choose investments for his allocation model from the strongest fund companies through his partnership with MDX Wealth Management, Scottrade Institutional, and TD Ameritrade. In addition, he has access to all listed equities, mutual funds, ETFs and bonds at a minimal trading cost for his clients. It is almost two decades of experience, and his focus on providing the right premier investment products at lower trading costs that allows Ron to provide world class service to all his clients.
